Am I allowed to text my old customers?

Yes — if you've previously done work for them, you have a legitimate reason to follow up. The key rule is that you can't text anyone registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service). PipeIQ screens every number before you send, so that's handled automatically.

What if someone replies and wants to be removed?

If anyone replies STOP, PipeIQ removes them from your list instantly and automatically. You don't have to do anything. They'll never receive another text from your number.

What does my customer actually see?

They get a text from a proper UK mobile number — dedicated to you. It looks like a normal text from a tradesperson. Not a shortcode, not a marketing blast. Just a short, personal message like they'd get from a friend of a friend.

Where do replies go — to my personal phone?

No. All replies go to your PipeIQ dashboard. You can check them on your phone or computer when you're free — not while you're mid-job. Nothing hits your personal number.
