A 24/7 telephone answering service that answers every call, day or night
Aria is an AI receptionist. She picks up round the clock — nights, weekends and bank holidays — takes the caller’s name, number and job details, and texts them straight to your phone. From £59 a month, 14 days free.

What a 24/7 telephone answering service does
A 24/7 telephone answering service answers your business calls at any hour — evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays — instead of letting them ring out to voicemail. Some are staffed by human receptionists on a rota; Aria, ours, is an AI receptionist.
Aria answers 24/7 on every plan, including nights, weekends and bank holidays. She takes the caller’s name, number and job details and texts them straight to your phone. Starter is £59 a month and includes 500 call minutes, then 10p a minute. You get 14 days free, and a card is required to start.
Round the clock means the same cover at every hour. Our published pricing has no out-of-hours rate and no night-time surcharge: it is £59 a month with 500 call minutes included, then 10p a minute, whatever time the phone rings. £59 is the whole price. TradeBoost AI Ltd is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add.
The hours a 24/7 service has to cover
“24/7” is used loosely in this market, so it is worth being precise about what it has to include. These are the hours Aria answers.
Nights
A call at 2am is answered the same way as a call at 2pm. No answerphone message, no “our office is now closed”.
Weekends
Saturday and Sunday are normal working hours as far as Aria is concerned, which is when a lot of domestic callers actually ring round.
Bank holidays
Bank holidays are covered too. There is no separate holiday rota to arrange and no cover to book in advance.
What human services usually do instead
Human answering services often cover set hours rather than all of them. On our own cost guide, read from providers’ websites on 26 October 2026, Pocket Receptionist’s standard cover is 08:00 to 20:00 at £75 a month for 30 calls.
Every competitor figure on this page is quoted from our own UK answering service cost guide, which records the date each provider’s page was read. Prices change — please check the provider’s live page before you buy.
You keep the number you already advertise
There are two ways to set it up, and both are described on our Aria page. You can take your own real UK number from us and advertise that — on the van, on your website, on your Google Business Profile. Or you can keep the number you already use and forward it to Aria, the same way you would forward it to voicemail. Either way Aria answers it, captures the lead, and texts the details straight to your phone.
Your Aria number is set up for you after checkout, and every plan also builds you a free one-page website from your business details.
What she does on the call
Aria takes the caller’s name, number and job details and texts them to you. On Starter she texts the caller a booking link so they can pick a time themselves. On Pro and Multi-Site she books the job into your Google Calendar live, while the caller is still on the line.
Round-the-clock cover on every plan
Every Aria plan answers round the clock, so you are not choosing between a cheap daytime plan and an expensive out-of-hours one. These are our list prices, taken from our Aria page.
| Plan | Price | Call minutes | Hours covered | Booking |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | £59/mo | 500 included, then 10p a minute | 24/7 | Texts the caller a booking link so they can pick a time themselves |
| Pro | £250/mo | Included allowance as listed on the Aria page | 24/7 | Live diary booking — the job goes into your Google Calendar while the caller is still on the line |
| Multi-Site | £449/mo | Included allowance as listed on the Aria page | 24/7 | Live diary booking, covering 3 locations, +£99/mo for each location beyond 3 |
£59 is the whole price. TradeBoost AI Ltd is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add. Texts are charged separately: 10p each, or from 7.3p in bundles. No setup fee and you can cancel at any time. For how this compares with other UK providers, see what a UK phone answering service normally costs.
The call you miss is the job you lose
If you are on a job, under a sink or up a ladder, you cannot answer. The caller who gets your voicemail at 7pm is not usually waiting for you to ring back in the morning — they are working down a list. A 24/7 answering service exists to make sure there is no hour of the week in which your phone quietly costs you work.
If you are not sure how many calls you are actually missing, our free missed-call check will tell you before you spend anything. There is also a plain explanation of missed call text back if that is the part you are weighing up.
Where this might not suit you
Aria is AI, not a person. If your calls are complex, sensitive or need judgement, a human answering service will handle them better, and we would rather say so than win the sale and lose you in month two. Aria is also new, so there are no customer reviews for us to show you yet.
Aria is not the cheapest option on the market either. Our own cost guide lists published entry prices from other UK providers below ours, although the cheapest of those include few or no answering minutes. The fairest test is not our copy — it is to have Aria ring you and hear her yourself.
You get 14 days free: your card is taken at checkout, but nothing is charged until day 15, and you can cancel before then.
Common questions
Is there a 24/7 telephone answering service in the UK?
Yes. Both human and AI services offer round-the-clock cover in the UK, though human services more often cover set hours instead. Aria, our AI receptionist, answers 24/7 on every plan, including nights, weekends and bank holidays, from £59 a month.
How much does a 24/7 telephone answering service cost?
Aria Starter is £59 a month with 500 call minutes included, then 10p a minute, and it answers round the clock. TradeBoost AI Ltd is not VAT registered, so there is no VAT to add. For what other UK providers publish, see our phone answering service cost guide, which records the date each provider's page was read.
Does a 24/7 answering service cover bank holidays?
It should, but check: some services advertise extended hours rather than all hours. Aria answers 24/7 including nights, weekends and bank holidays, and there is no separate holiday cover to arrange.
Is the call answered by a person or by AI?
With Aria it is AI. She is not a person and we do not pretend otherwise. If your calls are complex or sensitive, a human answering service will handle them better. The fairest way to judge it is to ring Aria yourself and listen.
Can I keep my own phone number?
Yes. You can either take a real UK number from us and advertise that, or keep the number you already use and forward it to Aria, the same way you would forward it to voicemail. Either way Aria answers it and texts you the details.
Is there an extra charge for answering out of hours?
Not in our published pricing. Aria Starter is £59 a month with 500 call minutes included and 10p a minute beyond that, whatever the time of day. There is no night-time or weekend surcharge listed.
How does setup work?
Your Aria number is set up for you after checkout, there is no setup fee, and you can cancel at any time.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 14 days free. Your card is taken at checkout but nothing is charged until day 15, and you can cancel before then.
What happens to the caller's details after the call?
Aria takes the caller's name, number and job details and texts them straight to your phone. On Starter she also texts the caller a booking link so they can pick a time themselves; on Pro and Multi-Site she books the job into your Google Calendar while the caller is still on the line.
